Prof. assoc.Dr. Astrid Krückhans.

Prof. assoc. Krückhans is head of the Orthopedics Department and Medical Director of the rehabilitation specialist hospital Johannesbad Fachklinik in Bad Füssing, Germany. Further she is Chair of the Medical Board of the Johannesbad Group, consisting of nine hospitals, several hotels and two training academies for physiotherapists in Germany and Austria. In addition, as a Chief Surgeon in the orthopedic, accident and joint surgery, she is receiving private patients from all over Germany and abroad.

Her medical background as a specialist doctor in orthopedics and accident surgery, physical therapy and emergency medicine gets completed and upgraded by her academic career: she holds a teaching license and chair as professor at the University of Oradea in Romania. National and international publications and papers, seminars and workshops come from her desk.

Since 2011 she is an active and recurrent consultant with the German Ministry of Economy managed SES (Senior Expert Service) in China, with main projects in rehabilitation and surgery in Shanghai, Linyi and other cities. Since 2015 this activity has been expanded on behalf of Johannesbad Group.
Prof. asoc. Krückhans´ experience is not only in the interventional surgery and trauma rehabilitation, it also includes an in-depth knowledge for establishing and managing educational projects and cross-border knowledge transfer.
